Face to Face: 100 WWII Veterans in Clay
Face To Face is a cultural and visual arts project centered on the sculpting of one hundred life-size busts of men and women who served in World War II. This collaboration by three artists--Claire Hanzakos, Kaija Keel, and Jilda Schwartz--also includes oral histories, personal photographs, and video documentation. The Foundation's ultimate aim is to tour the exhibition of sculptures and supporting materials to museums and other cultural venues.
A special thanks to independent curator Jo Lauria, for her expertise and guidance with Face to Face: 100 WWII Veterans in Clay.
